Unfortunately, that didn't actually fix the issue. Then it won't automatically start Audible and begin playback when my car turns on. So far the only way I've stopped it is by rebooting the phone.
This happens even if it's been overnight since I last used the app. The icon and control bar reappear as soon as the Bluetooth connection is made, and playback starts. However, if the phone connects to my car, it still automatically begins playback. If I open audible by clicking the control bar in notifications, then immediately swipe it up to close the app, the icon disappears and the control bar goes away. Now however, the Audible icon stays visible in my notifications, and the control bar stays in the notification pull-down. This used to close the app, or at least get it off my notification bar. If I bring up the task switcher and swipe the Audible app upwards off the screen, the app disappears and no longer appears on that screen. This repeats indefinitely, no matter how many times I click "x". When I click the "x" in the Audible notification control bar, it closes the Audible control bar, but immediately brings it back up. Usually, even if I forget to close the app, it'll close after a little while of not being used anyway. I just make sure to close the app when I park, and there's no issues.
This is even with the option "automatically start playing when headphones are plugged in" option is off. Generally, if Audible is running when it connects to my car, it automatically starts playing. This is new behavior, literally just started last night.
